With over 40 years of experience in accounting, Steven Moses has established a fine reputation for excellence and superior results for clients. His practice is focused in the areas of financial accounting, business consulting, litigation support, systems design, and special projects ranging from financial modeling to fraud investigation. He has served a variety of industries including hospitality, distribution and real estate.
A graduate with honors from the University of Florida in 1979, Mr. Moses began his professional career working in the local and national offices of a multinational accounting firm. He rounded out his experience as the chief financial officer of a company with operations across the United States, before returning to public accounting in 2001. His experience as a chief financial officer has helped Mr. Moses to better relate to clients from their “inside the company” perspective.
Mr. Moses is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
Mr. Moses is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Mr. Moses has served on and chaired the Committee on Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards and the UF Accounting Conference committee of the Florida Institute of Public Accountants. He has also served on the Accounting for General and Limited Partnerships Task force for the Accounting Standards Executive Committee of the American Institute of Public Accounting.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mr. Moses has supported and participated in various charitable organizations including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Cooper City Optimist Club and the Temple Beth Emet Visioning Committee.
